On May 16th, 2013 the first delivery of oak barrels and oak staves (the trade name of the product is "Old Russian Oak" ) manufactured with OAO APF "Fanagoria" is carried out to the State concern "The national production and agrarian association "Massandra" (the Ukraine). Within the five-year contract signed at the end of last year, 60 barrels with a capacity of 600 liters and oak stave for quarrystones (barrels of 20 tons volume).
The buyer noted high quality of production, hard fiber of wood and individual skill of coopers. All barrels passed check on tightness, quality of the staves , rivets on hoops at "Massandra's" plant. Additional wishes of the buyer to parameters of a barrel and staves for quarrystones were considered by the producer for 100%.
Let's remind that barrels and staves are made of the oak raw materials cut down on allotments in forest areas of small Caucasian ridge of Krasnodar region and processed directly in the cooperage of a wine-making company "Fanagoria".
Thus, creation of a full cycle of processing and production provided guaranteed high quality of the final product - barrels.
