Fanagoria Estate Winery has purchased Hamilton T-1, an artificial lung ventilation apparatus, for Krasnodar regional infectious diseases hospital, and two Armed 7F-5L oxygen concentrators – for the children’s infectious diseases ward of Temriuk rayon hospital, and for Krasnodar regional hospital No. 2.
The Swiss-made Hamilton T-1 has all life-support features, and it is intended for artificial lung ventilation of adult and underage patients during any resuscitation procedures, even on board a helicopter and while transporting the patient inside hospital and between hospitals, notwithstanding the disease severity.
The oxygen concentrator is meant for prevention of oxygen deficiency in the organism and related diseases of the respiratory, cardiovascular and other systems. The apparatus has an extra output for inhalations.
Commenting on the decision of the Company’s Board of Directors, General Director Petr Romanishin was quoted as noting that in this difficult time Fanagoria is whenever possible prepared to help fight the dangerous disease. Meanwhile, the winery continues to work. All employees undergo temperature checks twice a day; the winery facilities are furnished with antiseptic appliances and bactericide lamps. If cough would be detected, the employee would have to take a sickness certificate without sacrificing the wages.
“The Fanagoria Group of Companies proceeds with its usual work: spring operations in the vineyards, technological processes in the cellars, wine bottling, and delivering to retail chains,” Mr. Romanishin said. “Our own wine shops are also open, except for the ones located in malls that have been shut.”
