Colour: full, pomegranate, with a delicate white ridge. A well-pronounced flavour: sour cherry, cowberries, a lot of chamois leather, heather root, vanilla and cinnamon, lots of woody notes which, though, do not oust the main varietal flavour. Taste: intensive and full, a bit too alcoholic (the wine must be chilled down): vanilla, creamy fudge, sour cherry, delicate tannin, moderately-long finish with dominating oak. 15.5/20 (87/100).
A well recognizable style of the winery – accurate, clear and nice. For many years, it has been one of Russia’s three top Pinot Noirs.
